DAY 1: WINDHOEK
Arrive mid morning so that there is time to explore and shops in the mother city of Namibia. A Finding Africa representative  will organize a transfer from the airport to the hotel and introduce you to your guides and safari crew on the day of arrival. It is advised to exchange money at the airport on arrival. That evening the group will enjoy a meal at Joe's Beer House, one of Namibia famous restaurants.
Swakopmund activities
DAY 2: SWAKOPMUND
Depart at 08h00 for Swakopmund - 5 hour drive with a stop at a craft market, picnic lunch on route. We will also have the chance experience a bushman cultural experience on route to Swakopmund. Check in first, those wanting to do activities are taken to the activity center. Pax can pay with credit cards at the activity center on arrival. The rest of the day will be at ones own leisure. Dinner will be enjoyed as a group at one of the local restaurants.

DAY 3: SWAKOPMUND
Activity day for those interested / or explore the seaside town on foot. Lunch at ones own expense (as people do many different activities). Activities available are as follows: Quad biking, sand boarding, horse riding, dolphin boat cruise, sky-diving, scenic flights. Swakopmund is a busy town with many interesting shops and architecture. One will find a variety of people living and working together in this small seaside town. Don't forget to visit the beach bar for sunsets and stroll along the Swakopmund Jetty , recently reopened for public enjoyment in 2007.
DAY 4: CAPE CROSS-BRANDBERG
Leave Swakop after breakfast at 07H00 and depart for the Cape Seal Colony, and the famous Cape Cross planted by Diego Cao in 1486 - he was one of the worlds great navigators and explorers. lunch on route. Visit the Brandberg Mountain, option for a walk (3 hours) to view the famous White Lady Painting. Be advised to take lots of water, sunscreen and a hat as it can become very warm within the mountains. Those not wishing to take the hike will be taken to the lodge to relax for the afternoon.
DAY 5: TWYFELFONTIEN & HIMBA VILLAGE
Depart early via Twyfelfontein and the Bushmen engravings. On route we will stop to see some Herero doll makers and the beautiful dresses worn by the Herero tribal woman. One can purchase a miniature doll for around R70. After visiting the recent world heritage site at Twyfelfontein we head further north, and depending on time we visit a Himba village, learning more about the Himba culture and people.

DAY6: ETOSHA
Himba Village may be visited this morning due to time frames from previous day. After our visit to the village we travel east and restock our supplies / money and diesel in the town of Outjo. Lunch will be enjoyed here before we move onto Etosha National Park and the game viewing.
DAY 7: ETOSHA
The day is spent traveling through Etosha National Park viewing the abundant wildlife. We will enjoy a picnic lunch at the middle camp called Halali. Animals noted during this time of year are Springbok, Wildebeast, Oryx, Zebra, Elephants and if lucky lions, leopard and cheetah. Etosha is always a great highlight being one of Africa greatest reserves for research and the public eye.
DAY 8: KAVANGO RIVER
We leave Etosha and make our way via the town of Grootfontein on route to the Caprivi Strip and the Kavango River. The Caprivi is a water -rich network of rivers and swamplands with lush green trees and friendly locals. We will make a few stops along the way to visit some of the tribal homes and purchase hand made crafts should one wish to do so. This evening we will relax on the banks of the Kavango river and enjoy a traditional dance from some of the lodge staff.
DAY 9: WESTERN CAPRIVI
We travel along the Caprivi strip towards our next destination near Knogola. On route we will stop for a picnic lunch, enjoy the scenery of the Caprivi Strip. Should their be time we will make a stop at Popa Falls on the Okovango River for a short breather before crossing the river and into the Caprivi Game Park. Here we have the opportunity to see elephant, zebra and antelope while traveling through the park.
Chobe National Park
DAY10: CHOBE NATIONAL PARK
Today we leave Namibia and enter Botswana crossing the Chobe river system. We will be staying at a lodge in the town of Kasane. Our pre-booked activity will be a boat cruise along the Chobe River for a sunset cruise and chance to see more fascinating wildlife such as buffalo, crocodiles and Hippo's. This is a must see and well worth the wait. Depending on time one can visit the town of Kasane and visit the side stalls and craftsmen. Please note that these stalls are closed on a Sunday.
Victoria Falls
DAY 11: VICTORIA FALLS
An early departure is in order to cross the border form Botswana to Zambia. We make use of the Kazangula ferry, which is a true African experience. This ferry is used by many people and trucks every day trading between Botswana and Zambia. The border procedures may take up a little time thus the early departure. Once through we continue to the town of Livingston and onto the lodge for the night. That afternoon we travel to the Victoria Falls and David Livingston National Park, to view the waterfalls. This is best seen from the Zimbabwe side during low water. All park fees are in USD. Those wanting to walk across to the bridge to the Zimbabwe side are welcome. Helicopter and micro-light flights depart often and are a must if you are looking for an exciting photograph of the falls.
DAY 12: DEPARTURE

The morning is spent at ones own leisure until the departure time of the safari vehicle which is around 11h30. Here you will be dropped of at the Airport for your linking flight back to Johannesburg. Should one wish to do more activities at Victoria Falls we advise to spend an extra night.

The tour includes: Lodge accommodation, entrances, transport, meals and specified activities.


The tour excludes: Flights, visa's, travel insurance, extra activities and personal expenses.
