DAY 1 - 3: CAPE TOWN
On arrival at Cape Town International airport, you will be welcomed by one of Finding Africa representatives who will provide all the documents necessary for your journey. Spend the three days visiting the Mother City's famous attractions such as Table Mountain, Kirstenbosch Botanical Garden, Castle of Good Hope, Bo-Kaap, the Company Garden, National South African Museum, Green Market Square, Victoria and Alfred Waterfront, Two Oceans Aquarium, Cape Point, Simons Town and Robben Island.

DAYS 4 & 5: ROUTE 62 – KLEIN KAROO
Travel along Route 62, through the Breede River Wine Valley towns of Worcester, Ashton and Robertson. In Robertson, have lunch at Excelsior Wine Estate and blend your own wine with the wine maker. Visit the town of Montague, then continue your journey towards the prestigious Sanbona Wildlife Reserve, set in spectacular semi-desert scenery of the Klein Karoo. The reserve is more than 54 000 ha in size and famous for its white lions.
DAY 6: HERMANUS
En-route to Hermanus, stop at Cape Agulhas, the southernmost tip of the African continent, where the Indian and the Atlantic Oceans meet. Stay the night in Hermanus, one of the Cape’s most popular holiday destinations and known for the best land based whale viewing in the country (July-November).

DAY 7: STELLENBOSCH
Take an eco-experience boat trip (July-November) where you will be able to view aquatic mammals such as whales and dolphins. Or experience Great White Shark cage diving in Gansbaai (40min from Hermanus), if you prefer. After the boat trip depart for Stellenbosch, the second oldest town in South Africa. Stellenbosch is renowned for its wines, historical buildings, oak lined streets and the University of Stellenbosch.

DAY 8: ROVOS RAIL (CAPE TOWN - PRETORIA)
Back in Cape Town, you will leave for a three-day journey towards Pretoria on the luxury five star Rovos Rail. You will have the opportunity to see magnificent landscapes, savour delicious meals and have an unforgettable experience during this unique journey.

DAY 9: ROVOS RAIL (CAPE TOWN - PRETORIA)
On your second day on Rovos Rail, you will arrive in the city of Kimberley, the capital of Northern Cape province, at around 14h30. This city is famous for its diamond mines and the "Big Hole", where more than 3000 diamonds had been found before its closure in 1914. Here you can take a guided tour on a tram around the diamond museum.
Rovos Rail to Pretoria
DAY 10: PRETORIA
At 12h00 you will arrive in the Capital of South Africa, Pretoria. After disembarking the train you will be taken on a guided city tour. Also known as the "Jacaranda City", Pretoria is famous for its colourful gardens and streets, especially in September when some 80 000 Jacaranda trees flourish and give the city a purple hue.

DAY 11: JOHANNESBURG
Take a guided tour of the Sterkfontein Caves which were discovered in 1896 when the Italian Guigimo Martinaglia, who was searching for lime and gold, blasted his way into the caves. This place is now regarded as one of the world's most important archeological sites and was recently proclaimed a World Heritage Site known as the “Cradle of Humankind”. Afterwards you will leave for Gold Reef City which was built around the original No.14 shaft of Crown Mines. The guided tour includes an underground visit 220 meters below the surface, a gold pour and tribal dancing, providing the visitor with an in-depth look at the gold mining industry in South Africa.

DAYS 12 & 13: KRUGER NATIONAL GAME RESERVE
Kruger is undoubtedly the flagship of the South African national park and is home to an impressive number of species: 336 trees, 49 fish, 34 amphibians, 114 reptiles, 507 birds and 147 mammals. With a little luck you will see the Big Five (elephant, black rhinoceros, buffalo, leopard and lion). Stay at a luxury bush lodge, observe the animal in their natural habitat at dawn and at dusk on 4x4 game drives.

DAY 14: RETURN FLIGHT
After your breakfast, you will take a return flight to Johannesburg.
