On arrival at OR Tambo, Johannesburg’s International airport, you will be welcomed by one of Finding Africa’s representatives. They will provide you with all the documents necessary for your journey and assist you with your connecting flight to Kruger Mpumalanga Airport (KMA), near Nelspruit. The 65 000 hectare Sabi Sand Reserve forms part of the greater Kruger National Park, sharing a 50km unfenced eastern boundary, allowing animals to roam free and unhindered. The area is nourished by the Sand and Sabie Rivers, ensuring its status as one of the most bio-diverse wildlife populations in Africa. Over two hundred different species occur in abundance, including the Big Five (Lion, Elephant, Buffalo, Leopard and Rhino), extensive birdlife and a number of endangered species. In the late afternoon, embark on a Safari drive in an open Land Rover with your tracker and guide as the sun gently sets. This is when predators become more active and get ready for the hunt.
