DAY 1: CAPE TOWN
On arrival at Cape Town International airport, you will be welcomed by one of Finding Africa’s representative who will provide you with all the documents necessary for your journey. Drive towards the centre of Cape Town, where you will check into your accommodation and then spend the day at leisure. We suggest you visit Table Mountain (weather permitting) or the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront.
Steenberg Golf Course in Tokai
DAY 2: STEENBERG GOLF COURSE & THE CAPE PENINSULA

Play: Steenberg Golf Course - Tokai Visit: Cape Point and a tour of the Cape Peninsula Stay: Accommodation in the Cape Town city bowl. Spend the morning playing at Steenberg golf course, visually rewarding and technically challenging, nestled at the bottom of the Constantiaberg Mountains, just 20 minutes from central Cape Town. We suggest that you spend the afternoon exploring the magnificent Cape peninsula. Along the way, stop off at Simon’s Town, the principal South African Naval base, the Jackass penguin colony at Boulders Beach, Cape Point and end the day with a sundowner cruise in Hout Bay. Please note that the peninsula tour can be done with a driver-guide.

DAY 3: PEARL VALLEY GOLF COURSE & WINE TASTING
Play: Pearl Valley Golf Course - Paarl Visit: Wine tasting on the Paarl and Stellenbosch Wine Route Stay: Stellenbosch. Every hole at Pearl Valley Golf Estates is played against the spectacular backdrop of the mountains surrounding the estate and all are challenging due to the bunkers and fast greens. All par 3s and par 5s play in different directions, ensuring that the same conditions are not experienced too many times in one round. After your game, spend the rest of the day in the Cape Winelands exploring the rich countryside with a guided wine tasting tour along the Paarl Wine Route followed by lunch on one of the wine estates and then continue your tour onto Stellenbosch. End the day at Spier Wine Estate with a cocktail at the unique Moyo restaurant, where you can dine and be entertained by African drums and Xhosa dancers.

DAY 4: KNYSNA & SIMOLA GOLF COURSE
Play: Simola Golf Course Visit: The town of Knysna and its waterfront Stay: Knysna. Drive towards Knysna along the N2. Knysna is a town of exquisite beauty, with landscapes marrying the oceans, mountains and valleys, which are covered in Fynbos. Knysna nestles around a lagoon and estuary, provides an ideal habitat for the cultivation of oysters. After checking into your accommodation and freshening up, play a round at Simola Golf Course. This Jack Nicklaus Signature course, built in the hills above Knysna, offers awe-inspiring views and is one of South Africa's premier golfing destinations.

DAY 5: KNYSNA & PEZULA GOLF COURSE
Play: Pezula Golf Course Visit: Lagoon ferry, Featherbed Nature Reserve & the Knysna Heads Stay: Knysna . Play at Pezula Golf Course, a sweeping spectacle of fairways and rolling greens overlooking the Indian Ocean. The breathtaking, award-winning 18-hole course, rates amongst the best and the most scenic golf courses in the world. In the afternoon, take a ferry from the Knysna Waterfront on a unique eco-experience along the lagoon and estuary, towards the western side of the Knysna Heads, where the privately owned Featherbed Nature Reserve is located. You’ll have the opportunity to do a 4x4 drive up the steep slopes to reach some of the most spectacular views that Knysna has to offer.
Hot Air Balloon Safari over the Magaliesberg
DAY 6: MAGALIESBERG
Visit: Cradle of Humankind and the Sterkfontein Caves Stay: Magaliesberg. Drive to George Airport and catch a flight to Lanseria Airport, Johannesburg. A Finding Africa representative will provide you with all the documents necessary for the rest of your journey and assist you with the rental of your car. Have lunch at “Cornuti’s in the Cradle” (15min from the airport), in the Cradle of Humankind, a World Heritage site. After lunch, visit the Sterkfontein Caves, where scientists have discovered many hominid and other animal fossils, dating back more than 4-million years, to the birth of humanity. The most important and most famous of these fossils are “Mrs Ples”, a 2.1-million-year-old Australopithecus skull, and “Little Foot”, an almost complete Australopithecus skeleton that is more than 3-million years old. Drive to your accommodation to check in and spend the rest of the afternoon at leisure. The area offers fly fishing and hikes abundant with bird life.
Lost City Golf Course at Sun City
DAY 7: HOT AIR BALLOONING & LOST CITY GOLF COURSE
Play: Lost City Golf Course Visit: Take a Hot Air Balloon Safari over the Magaliesberg Stay: Lost City/Sun City. Wake up early and drive 20-30 min to the Skeerpoort ballooning field in the Magaliesberg. After your briefing for the flight, you will be hovering gently above the tree tops of the beautiful Magalies River Valley, or drifting majestically high above the Magaliesberg range, a region boasting some of the best ballooning weather in the world. After landing at the balloon field, enjoy a sumptuous breakfast and then drive to Sun City. Once you have checked in, enjoy a round at The Lost City Golf Course, a unique experience with its desert style design and the contrast between green fairways and the surrounding African bush. Also to be noted is the use of extensive water-features including a water hazard on the 13th hole with 38 crocodiles. Spend the rest of the evening at Sun City at your leisure.
Enjoy a round of golf at the Gary Player Country Club
DAY 8: GARY PLAYER COUNTRY CLUB & GAME DRIVE
Play: Gary Player Country Club Visit: Game Drive in the Pilansberg National Park Stay: Lost City/Sun City. Play the tree lined Gary Player Country Club course, acknowledged as a challenging and demanding course - to be enjoyed by both novices and professionals alike. The course cuts through the African bush and is along side a nature reserve. The course is home to the annual Nedbank Million Dollar Golf Challenge and was designed by Gary Player himself. A 4x4 game drive awaits you in the afternoon in the Pilanesberg National Park, the third largest game reserve in South Africa, host to more than 6000 species of animal such as the Big 5 (elephant, black rhinoceros, lion, leopard and buffalo). In addition, 300 species of birds can be sighted in the park. Spend your last evening in Sun City at your leisure.
DAY 9: RETURN FLIGHT
Return to JHB International Airport and catch your connecting flight.
