types available to cater for different needs and experiences.
Hope Lodge
The Lodge is situated within the Shikwaru Country Estate adjacent to Shikwaru Lodge. The Lodge can accommodate up to 30 people. Great for holiday groups, family get-togethers or conference teams. . Although fully equiped for self catering, meals can be enjoyed from The African Pot restaurant
Amani
Four chalets that sleep up to 4 people each. Relax on a closed wooden deck that
has a magnificent view of the Hanglip Mountain. A swimming
pool, jungle gym and volleyball net offers hours of fun for the kids. (The pool
includes a safety net.)Although every room is fully equipped for self catering,
there is also a large communal kitchen with dining area and a fireplace. There
is also a television with satellite dish available. You are welcome to bring
your own DSTV decoder and smartcard.
Watoto
A luxury tented camp that truly offers the ruggedness of camping with all the
luxuries you desire for a comfortable stay. Five tents with 2 bedrooms each,
and an adjoining bathroom, sleep up to 4 people. Each tent has a private braai
area and a small kitchenette, fridge and microwave. Every tent has its own
outdoor shower. A communal boma and closed off lapa add to the uniqueness of
this camp.
Kolobe
3 Rock built, thatched roof chalets that sleep up to 4 people each. This is the
perfect camp for a family getaway. Each chalet is equipped with a kitchenette,
fridge and microwave. A communal boma provides the perfect evening in the
company of a fire. There's also a fireplace in one of the chalets for that
extra warmth. A splash pool provides additional refreshfment on those hot
summer days.
Bass Camp
This is truly for adventurous people. There is no electricity and Solar geysers and gas appliances add to the atmosphere. This is a place for the enthusiastic angler as the dam host species like Blackbass, Mozambiquen tilapia, Redbreasted tilapia and Sharptooth catfish. Bass camp has one double bed and four single beds and two bathrooms and a kitchen.
