Shepherds Court is an intimate 9-room guesthouse located in Beverly Gardens, Randburg offering excellent
accommodation for business trips or holiday stopovers. Its location on the
border between Bryanston and Randburg affords easy access to the N1 highway via
either the William Nicol or Malibongwe
Drive on/off ramp, as well as to the major
business and commercial areas of Randburg, Bryanston, Hyde
Park, Sandton, Fourways, Sunninghill, Rivonia and Rosebank.
Shepherds Court can make arrangements for transfers to and
from the airports around Johannesburg.
Accommodation
Shepherds Court can accommodate up to 18 guests on a Bed
& Breakfast basis with its five en-suite rooms and four rooms sharing. All
rooms have a complimentary tea/coffee facility.
There are
currently two room-types:
- 5 Superior double rooms with en-suite bathroom.
- 4 Standard double rooms with
bath and shower.
Facilities
- Arrangements
can be made for laundry on either a ´self-service´ basis or as an extra room service
including ironing.
- Guests
have free access to the wireless internet. Fax, copiers and telephone
communications are available for a nominal fee.
- Common
areas consist of Breakfast room, Lounge with fireplace and bar, as well as a TV
room with a large flat screen satellite TV.
- There
is also an outside covered patio with braai/barbecue facilities and large
garden with a swimming pool.
- Breakfast
is served daily.
- Lunch
and dinner are available from a variety of restaurants at a nearby shopping
centre (Ferndale Village), about 500 meters away.
- Light
lunches or finger foods, as well as dinners can be organized upon request.
Activities
Shepherds Court is close to the head offices of major
organizations, the Randburg Magistrate Courts, the Sandton and Olivedale
Clinics.
The Coca Cola Dome next to Northgate Shopping Mall and the
Monte Casino entertainment complex in Fourways are both about 10 minutes away
and they are also a short drive from other major shopping malls, a large
variety of restaurants, the Bryanston Country Club, the Golf Course and a
Virgin Active health club.
Several Restaurants and coffee bars, as well as take-away
establishments are situated in a local shopping centre (Ferndale Village)
about 500 meters away, where other facilities include a Spar supermarket,
Woolworths Foods, pharmacy, liquor store,dry cleaner, bookstore, etc.
