This privately owned 25 000 hectares of wildlife terrain is situated in the malaria free Eastern Cape Province, 45 Minute drive from Port Elizabeth Airport. This reserve has received numerous international awards, including the World’s Leading Conservation Company and Game Reserve for many consecutive years. The reserve boasts five eco-systems, thus enabling the support of many forms of plant, animal and bird life. Accommodation Six luxury lodges each offer a distinctive ambiance and exclusive spa experience. All lodges operate independently, each with a full staff compliment including its own Management team, chef brigade, hosts and hostesses and experienced field guides. Game drives can last up to three hours each and done twice a day in open vehicles with a maximum of six guests per vehicle. Guided walks and stargazing can also be enjoyed. Visit the Born Free Foundation Animal Rescue and Education Centres, which promotes the conservation of species and the protection of habitat, while maintaining a humane and compassionate approach to the welfare of animals. It’s goal is to create an awareness of the horrific way in which wildlife is exploited in captivity around the world.
