The lodge is situated along the beach of the Maputo Bay1km from the channel separating the Machangulo Peninsula from Inhaca Island.

As well as aquatic activities the area has beautiful coastal forest, and mangrove swamps to explore, with Santa Maria village a fusion of African and Portuguese.

Accommodation

The houses offer self-catering accommodation, fully equipped kitchens and daily service that will ensure peace of mind vacation for individuals, groups or the whole family.

Every bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with tiled floors adding to the coolness in summer. All units are air-conditioned, and all windows have mosquito nets.

Beautiful local hardwood accents all houses from floors to doors.

Safari Tented Camp

The safari-tented camp offers a very comfortable alternative for the nature lover. From waking up with the early morning bird calls to sitting under the stars at night, while still in the comfort of the necessary amenities.

The camp has a large thatched roof entertainment area with kitchen, bar counter and dining area.

  •  There is a social braaiplace under shady Marula trees.
  •  The camp consists of 3 safari tents sleeping 4 people each.
  •  All tents have fans, ensuite bathrooms and mosquito nets for every bed.
  •  This camp is a few meters from the deck leading down to the beach.
