Victoria Falls
The Victoria Falls, one of the largest in the world, is located on the Zambezi River between Zambia and Zimbabwe. The Zambezi basin, above the falls, experiences a rainy season from late November to early April, and a dry season during the rest of the year.
Game drives in the national parks, containing abundant wildlife including sizable populations of elephant, zebra, giraffe, buffalo, and a variety of antelope. The river above the falls contains large populations of hippos and crocodile. Other activities in the area include, visiting Livingstone Island, bunji jumping, elephant safaris, whitewater rafting, helicopter flights, micro lighting, horse riding, and gorge swinging.
