Robertson

Robertson, known as the “small town with a big heart”, is the lesser known of the Cape Wine Routes, but is becoming more and more popular with those in the know. It is located at the heart of the longest wine route in the world, Route 62, only 1½ hours from Cape Town and renowned for its wine and roses.

In Robertson, you find Victorian buildings, jacaranda-lined streets, vineyards banked with beautiful roses, columns of red and yellow cannas as well as bright bougainvillea’s. Best known for its wines, Robertson is also famous for its cuisine, various attractions and activities and the spectacular scenery.
