Paarl
The scenic town of Paarl is set in the Cape Winelands, in the Western Cape Province, only about 60km outside Cape Town (less than an hours drive).
It is famous for having the second-largest granite outcrop, the Pearl Mountain or “Paarl Rock” and well maintained Cape Dutch Houses from the 17th -19th century. Paarl wine route where you can do wine tastings at the many wine estates, offers beautiful scenery. Paarl is also close to Stellenbosch making it very popular for wedding venues.
