Hamilton Parks Country Lodge is a comfortable 14-bedroom country hotel, set in a magnificent 250 hectare estate, consisting of pristine indigenous bush near Hazyview in the Mpumalanga Lowveld

Only 25 minutes from the Kruger National Park, the lodge offers easy access to game reserves and the scenic wonders of the Blyde River Canyon and the Great Escarpment.

Accommodation

All 14 rooms are en-suite with bath and shower and a choice of double or twin beds - two rooms can accommodate a family of up to four. The rooms are all individually decorated and are situated away from the main building providing different levels of privacy.

They all have ceiling fans, tea and coffee facilities, a mini-bar, a mini-safe for valuables and a snack basket. Each room also have an outside veranda with table and chairs where one can enjoy a cup of coffee or just sit and soak up the African sun.

Facilities

From the dining room one have a view of the extensive gardens with an enormous rubber tree providing adequate shade during the hot summer days.

Close to the dining room and main hotel you will also find the swimming pool and cosy bar area. This area is ideal for informal gatherings and a true South African ‘braai’ (barbeque) during the evening.

The main hotel also accommodates a guest lounge with communal television and a selection of books for the avid reader.

The lodge also offers a bushwalk, during which one can spot some nice species of birds and maybe an animal or two.
