Funky Stay is a comfortable
overnight accommodation on the very popular R101 that leads from Pretoria all the way to
Polokwane. It is situated 4km outside of the well known town of Modimolle, previously
known as Nylstroom.
Modimolle Funky Stay offers exactly
what the name suggests – funky rooms, no frills, affordable overnight
accommodation. The interiors of these rooms are bright and colourful and have a
fresh new take on giving guests a unique experience.
Accommodation
The 14 rooms are located in A-frame
cabins that fit in with the surrounding bushveld.
The proudly South African touch is
brought to life by the multitude of colours, displayed not only in the
paintings on the walls, but also in the choice of scatter cushions, throws and
ottoman found in the room.
Selected DSTV channels are available
on a flat screen television that is conveniently located facing the bed. The
two twin beds can also be separated, with the furniture easily moved apart to
still showcase the classy touch of South of Africa.
En suite bathrooms offer a modern
shower, elegant wash basin and toilet. There is also ample cupboard space with
an open closet snugly fit into the cabins’ unique A-frame build.
Facilities
The beautiful pond, that lies
waiting upon arrival, is an attractive feature that attracts the prolific
birdlife of the Nylsvley wetlands.
