The Vineyard Rooms have been designed to optimise the majestic views of the valley and the Helderberg Mountains. The Classic rooms have all been tastefully refurbished to reflect the contemporary colonial feel of the hotel. The four Luxury Rooms offer spacious individually decorated rooms, all leading to a lovely private courtyard with pool and jacuzzi. The Junior Suites are extremely spacious and individually decorated in a contemporary Cape style, offering spectacular valley & vineyard views. The Family Suite is has a queen size extra length bed and the children's room has two three quarter extra length beds.
The Executive suite is extremely spacious with unequalled valley views, elegant furnishings, a king-size four poster bed, fireplace, and an en-suite bathroom with free-standing Queen Anne bath and double shower.

Golfers have the options of numerous excellent golf courses within 10 to 30 minutes radius of the hotel namely; DevonVale, De Zalze, Stellenbosch, Paarl, Pearl Valley, Erinvale and Strand. The beautiful sandy beaches of Strand are less than 25 minutes away. Gordon`s Bay and the ever popular Bikini Beach, adjacent to the harbour and yacht club, is a further 10 minutes` drive. Boating and fishing are available from the harbour. Tutored wine tasting afternoons at the hotel or private tastings and cellar tours at many nearby estates can be arranged on request. For the more serious hiker, the Stellenbosch Vineyard Hiking Trail starts at the Sugarbird Manor, near the entrance to the Devon Valley Road and meanders through 12km or 24km of peaceful vineyards.
