Botsebotse Bush Retreat is situated in a Private Nature Reserve, only 2 hours drive from Johannesburg, midway between Bela Bela and Thabazimbi in the Waterberg region of Limpopo Province.

Surrounded by a number of private Big 5 game reserves, the pristine bushveld reserve has ample wildlife and game and has its own award winning golf course.

Accommodation

 

Four luxury temperature controlled double bedrooms are detached from the main lodge and lead off a vast thatched walkway. All rooms have large comfortable beds dressed with safari nets and superior linen, refreshment stations, seating areas, flat screen televisions and DVD players, satellite TV, electronic safes and mini-bars.

Lavish en-suite bathrooms have egg shaped baths, comfortable indoor showers and private outdoor feature “shower baths”.

Facilities

Facilities include a swimming pool, a bar, spa facilities, a bush boma and outside decks ideal for game spotting.

Activities

Big 5 Game, white lions and cheetahs can be viewed on guided game drives, horseback and quad bike safaris at a number of bordering private game reserves. The departure points for Big 5 activities are a mere 10 min traveling distance from Botsebotse. Guests can also opt for Botsebotse Bush Retreat’s unguided eco bush safaris with guests venturing out on their own.

With no predatory animals, Botsebotse Bush Retreat is ideal for truly understanding and learning to love the African bush. An area of 1,600 ha offers the unique experience to do your own game drives, game walks, cycle safaris and picnics at a number of picnic spots, bird hides and dams.
