The luxury self-catering log cabin, Blyde
River Cabin Guesthouse, is the ideal accommodation to spend on holiday on the
banks of the Blyde River, on the fringe of the Lowveld Riverine Forest.
The guesthouse is located 20km from the
town Hoedspruit, in a wildlife area which forms part of both the Blyde-Olifants
Conservancy and Kruger to Canyons Biosphere Reserve.
Guests can relax under the large trees in
a hammock, have some quiet time or sit around the fire in the evening.
Caution: the guesthouse is not fenced and
wild animals traverse the surrounding area, among them hippos, crocodiles,
chacma baboons, impalas, warthogs and spotted hyenas, and signs of other more
elusive creatures (leopard, Pels Fishing owl and wood owl) are ever present.
Accommodation
When booking guests book the entire guesthouse
thus enabling them to enjoy total privacy.
The guesthouse is fully equipped and
caters up to six guests. It consists in three bedrooms (one double and two
twins), a lounge area, a deck overlooking the river and a braai area. Children
of all ages are welcome.
