its truly awesome topography, created by the slowly meandering Bushman’s River
running through it.
Amakhala Game Reserve is located
between the Greater Addo and Frontier Country area in the Eastern Cape of South
Africa, just a 45min drive from Port
Elizabeth.

Discreetly positioned in the bush at
the top end of an open valley in the reserve, each of the en-suite, tented and
thatched suites with wooden floor overlooks a watering point with big sky
views. Each suite has a private viewing deck with plunge pool. The spacious
tents have hot and cold air-conditioning, fireplace, large oval bath and
alfresco double showers.

The guest reception is at the
colonial Reed Valley Inn, from where guests are transferred into the reserve.
Rates include accommodation, all
meals, house drinks and 2 reserve activities per day.
